ABOUT NEW ZEALAND

New Zealand’s awesome landscapes, lush forests and amazing wildlife make it a haven for many outdoor activities, and a great place to unwind.

With vast open spaces, gorgeous beaches, often spectacular geothermal and volcanic activity, a temperate climate and fascinating animal and plant life, it is no surprise that New Zealand’s pure natural environment is so attractive to visitors from other countries.

New Zealand society is diverse, sophisticated, and multicultural, and the honesty, friendliness, and openness of Kiwis will impress you. The great advantage of New Zealand is that all of its diverse physical, cultural, and artistic landscapes are so close to each other!

ABOUT ROTORUA

Rotorua’s community philosophy is beautifully expressed with the word manaakitanga. In the spirit of hospitality, manaakitanga encompasses the cultural strength of Rotorua’s people; the amazing geothermal earth forces of the region; the natural beauty of the forests, lakes and rivers; and the development of sustainable tourism.

Manaakitanga is a deep-rooted concept in Maori culture. It is a challenge to Rotorua to offer visitors the best experience. It is also your invitation to discover the very essence of New Zealand in this exceptional region.

Rotorua’s striking gardens, cobbled streets and fascinating mix of Maori and English Tudor architecture give the city a significant point of difference. Beyond the urban centre, a backdrop of geothermal steam, volcanic mountains and huge crater lakes remind you that this region rests immediately above the Pacific Ring of Fire.

Rotorua is a tourism mecca with a huge range of activites and sightseeing opportunities available.  Adventure, cultural, and natural wonders can all be experienced in this amazing community.  Whether you are seeking adventure and adrenalin, history and culture or pampering and relaxation, Rotorua is a great place to be.
